Spiritual Retreats

Spiritual retreats are times spent away from your normal life and distractions to spend time with God. Retreats differ from conferences, seminars, and meetings in that the primary work is interior spiritual development through a prolonged period of reflection rather than simply being exposed to information, techniques, and inspiration, then returned immediately to the daily routine. A spiritual retreat rekindles and deepens one’s relationship with God, refreshes and revitalizes, and gives the opportunity for more time spent in prayer and contemplation. St. Augustine articulated quite well why we need spiritual retreats: "Our heart is restless until it rests in you." It is a much needed nourishment for the soul. One may take this opportunity to more clearly hear God’s call and to seek God’s healing grace and thereby attain a degree of spiritual renewal. The purpose of a spiritual retreat, as an addition to daily spiritual activities, is to temporarily leave behind the usual distractions we all face for a time, long enough to allow relaxation, and for an inner change to occur: the ongoing conversion of heart that is critical to deepening faith. This is the time when we reflect and search for our True Self, where God truly becomes the center of our life. It helps us to center ourselves back to the Author and Source of Life and helps us (re)set our priorities. We offer three (3) types of directed retreats: (1) Individual Retreat; (2) Couples Retreat; (3) Family Retreat
